This intensive program will develop the coordination, skill and confidence necessary for the student to operate a motorcycle safely and efficiently. It will cover:

• Slow speed maneuvering
• Control
• Braking/Emergency Braking
• Curve Negotiation
• Defensive Driving Techniques

Throughout the program, the student rider will be continually evaluated. Upon successful completion of the course, students will have demonstrated their ability to use all the defensive riding techniques and manual skills they have learned.

One of the primary objectives of motorcycle training is to teach the student basic techniques that will make a better rider, in that, the student will gain the expertise to avoid a potential accident or, unavoidable, minimize the consequences. The following are some of the techniques used by instructors. Also listed are the corresponding results that usually occur if the student cannot master the technique.
