BRIAN PON:
I have been in Law Enforcement for over 20 years, the last 4 years as a motor officer. I am currently a police officer assigned to the Traffic Unit.
I am a certified motor instructor for my department’s Traffic Unit as well as one of the certified motorcycle instructors for a Regional Driver Training Facility. I currently train members of our Traffic Unit as well as assist in training other surrounding agencies.
I have ridden several makes of police motorcycles. I am currently riding a 2009 Harley-Davidson Road King and my personal motorcycle is a 2006
Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Classic.
I feel if you are a motorcycle rider, it makes no difference what make or model you ride. I feel everyone should take some type class to learn how to
ride with confidence and safely.
I enjoy teaching riders from beginners to advanced riders on how to improve their riding skills as well as learning new riding skills.
DENNIS GUTHRIE:
I have been in Law Enforcement for approximately 18 years. I have been on motors for the last eight years and currently assigned to the traffic unit.
I am currently one of the motor Instructors for the Department's motor team and have been for the last two years.
I feel one of the biggest reasons people crash motorcycles is their inexperience riding. In short they over ride their ability.
